Lione serves as the princess of the Flame Kingdom (Meramera Kingdom) and is the older sister of Prince Tio. She inherits distinctive cat-like ears and a single prominent fang from her father, the anthropomorphic lion King Wohl, while sharing her mother Queen Nina's vibrant orange hair and eyes. Initially 11 years old in the first series, she ages to 12 in the sequel. Lione's personality is predominantly reserved and gentle, often manifesting as shyness and nervousness that causes her to act like a "Shrinking Violet" in social settings. Despite this natural reticence, she demonstrates deep loyalty to her kingdom and a willingness to confront challenges when necessary.

Her notable abilities include a unique psychic empathic link with the Flame Kingdom's sacred Bo Dragon. This connection allows her to sense and interpret the dragon's emotions and intentions, often facilitated by a special gemstone. Lione is also proficient in driving and possesses skill in samba dancing, performing the latter during the kingdom's annual festival; her intervention once proved crucial in saving the Samba Festival from disruption. While not primarily a fighter, she occasionally offers assistance to protagonists Fine and Rein during their missions.

Lione maintains a close bond with her younger brother Tio, who aspires to emulate the protector Prince Shade. Though introduced with potential significance, her appearances become less frequent as the series progresses, placing her in a secondary role among princesses like Sophie and Milro.
