Tasogare no Prince emerges as a mysterious figure, delivering transformation devices to Honey Kisaragi that unlock her power as Cutie Honey to battle Panther Claw. He consistently offers guidance and presents white flowers after her fights, establishing himself as her enigmatic ally.

His hidden identity is Prince Zera, a high-ranking Panther Claw executive and offspring of Panther Zora. He engineers Honey's empowerment specifically to eliminate Sister Jill, whom he perceives as a barrier to his own ascension within the organization.

Years earlier, he partnered with Dr. Kisaragi on an artificial human project designed to create subjects capable of wielding the Airborne Element Fixing Device. When Sister Jill terminated the project, Dr. Kisaragi fled with one subject, Honey, while Zera and Panther Zora claimed the other, Seira Hazuki. They nurtured Seira's hatred towards Honey.

After revealing his true identity and motives to Honey, Zera engages her in direct combat. During their duel, he exhibits an unexpected attachment, offering her a place beside him. As Panther Zora strikes at the weakened Honey, Zera sacrifices himself, intercepting the fatal blow. His dying words confess his original plan: to use the device to cleanse Panther Zora's malevolence and liberate Seira from her curse.

Following his death, his spirit manifests multiple times. He informs Honey that Panther Zora embodies eternal human greed and thus cannot be fully destroyed. Later, during Honey's wedding to Seiji Hayami, his spirit briefly distracts a resurrected Sister Jill, safeguarding the ceremony.

Throughout the series, he maintains a complex dynamic with Seira, manipulating her as Misty Honey while simultaneously striving to purify her corrupted transformation device. Zera evolves from a calculating antagonist into a figure capable of self-sacrifice, though his spectral appearances indicate enduring ties to the living world.
