Flene is one of the two primary Han warrior protagonists. This character travels with a companion named Lek, both utilizing hoverbikes for transportation. Flene possesses a famously enormous appetite, a defining trait shared with Lek.

Flene carries a miniature strategist named Gege, who resides within Flene's hair. Despite this symbiotic arrangement, Gege offers minimal practical aid.

The narrative follows Flene and Lek accepting a commission from a village to destroy the mobile fortress Tanguin, responsible for abducting the village's women. Flene participates alongside two tribesmen, Syril and Corola, and a fairy named Klee, who transforms into a mechanized warrior. The primary motivation for the mission is the promise of a feast as a reward. Flene engages in the action sequences leading to Tanguin's destruction. Following the conflict, Flene resumes a nomadic existence with Lek.
