Description
Bagi emerged from recombinant DNA research at the SuperLife Center laboratory, a genetic hybrid of human and American mountain lion. She was one of fifteen prototypes. An earthquake facilitated her escape as a kitten, making her and her mother the sole survivors of the incident; her mother was later hunted down.

Rescued and adopted by a boy named Ryo Ishigami in her infancy, Bagi exhibited unusual intelligence. She learned to walk on her hind legs, write her name, and mimic human behaviors, including following exercise programs. Her accelerated development and human-like traits eventually prompted her to flee Ryo's home to avoid discovery.

Over the next nine years, Bagi matured into an adult with a humanoid feline appearance, characterized by lilac hair and eyes, and gained the ability to speak. Disguising herself as a human woman, she searched for others of her kind. At age fifteen, she encountered Ryo again, now part of a motorcycle gang. After initial conflict, she revealed her identity and they reunited. Together, they investigated her origins at the SuperLife Center, uncovering her genetic creation and the involvement of Ryo's mother, Professor Yoko Ishigami.

Traveling to South America to confront Professor Ishigami at the Cucaracha Research Lab, Bagi and Ryo discovered a plot involving genetically engineered poisonous rice for warfare. Professor Ishigami sacrificed herself to help Bagi destroy the rice. Ryo, mistakenly believing Bagi killed his mother, vowed revenge. Concurrently, Bagi began losing her human traits, regressing to a feral state with diminished speech and heightened animalistic behavior, though she retained strategic intelligence.

Five years later, Ryo, now a hunter, pursued Bagi in South America, believing her responsible for attacks on villagers. He was accompanied by Chico, a local boy seeking vengeance for his father's death. The attacks were later attributed to normal animals. When Ryo confronted the feral Bagi, she attacked him, prompting him to stab her. He then discovered a locket containing his mother's final letter exonerating Bagi.

Bagi survived the stabbing but fully regressed to a non-sentient, feral existence. She disappeared into the wilderness, leaving only footprints. Her story concludes with her living in solitude, having permanently lost her human characteristics and connection to Ryo.
