Her existence remains fixed on fulfilling her core function as a sex worker amid decaying chrome and concrete.

She is among the Dolls who meet Malice after Malice transforms from machine into an organic, human-like being. Doris actively shuns Malice following this metamorphosis, fleeing the transformed entity and rejecting the "gift" of humanity Malice offers. This stark fear contrasts with the curiosity exhibited by other Dolls like Heather@Doll. Doris embodies the machines' despairing refusal to accept such change, choosing their purposeless but familiar routines over the chaos of organic existence.
