TV Special
Description
Piyocola Analogue III, commonly called Piyoko, is an 8-year-old alien princess from the impoverished Planet Analogue. Her full royal title, Pyocola Analogue III, marks her as the third in her lineage. She is the daughter of Pyocola Analogue II and an unnamed general, with Pyocola Analogue IV being her daughter. Her family includes grandmother Pyocola Analogue I and grandfather King Piyocolus Analogue.

Piyoko leads the Black Gema Gema Gang, driven by the goal of ransoming Dejiko (Di Gi Charat) to relieve her planet's extreme poverty. This motivates her repeated, yet consistently failed, kidnapping attempts due to her inherent naivety and susceptibility to deception. A strong sense of responsibility for her home planet pushes her to pursue these schemes relentlessly despite setbacks.

Physically, Piyoko appears as a short girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She wears signature panda-themed accessories: a hat or bow featuring panda eyes and mouth designs, plus black panda ears. Her outfits vary; the original series depicts her in a nurse-style dress with a white apron and vertically striped brown-and-dark-brown skirt, while *Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat* features her in a black maid dress with bat wings.

Piyoko's personality evolves across media. Early portrayals, particularly in the *Summer Special 2000*, show her as more malicious, destroying city blocks with her weapon and devising brainwashing schemes. Later depictions soften her into a comedic, less threatening figure whose plans prove largely ineffectual. Despite self-proclaimed "evil" ambitions, she is fundamentally good-hearted and easily manipulated, especially by Dejiko.

Her primary ability is the "Mouth Bazooka" (Kuchi Kara Bazooka), a laser fired from her mouth comparable in power to Dejiko's Eye Beams. Its effectiveness is often hampered by a slower activation time, leaving her vulnerable to preemptive attacks.

In the *Christmas Special*, Piyoko and her gang abandon a planned scheme to celebrate Christmas peacefully with Dejiko's group, revealing early camaraderie. This special introduces her three lackeys: Rik, Coo, and Ky, who assist her operations.

Piyoko's development includes recurring collaborations with Dejiko's group despite their rivalry. Examples are joint performances in the *Tsuyu Special*, band activities in the *Natsuyasumi Special*, and shared cherry-blossom viewing in the *Ohanami Special*, showcasing her shift from antagonist to occasional ally.

The OVA *Leave It to Piyoko!* explores her leadership of the Black Gema Gema Gang and her persistent efforts to achieve financial stability for Planet Analogue. Spin-offs like *Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat* and *Di Gi Charat Nyo* adapt her character to more lighthearted or magical-girl narratives, retaining core traits like her panda obsession and verbal tic "pyo".

Her relationships extend to minor alliances or neutral interactions with characters like the Manager of Gamers during seasonal events. Despite her role as a would-be villain, Piyoko's actions increasingly reflect a childlike desire for connection and vulnerability, particularly in stories emphasizing her dedication to her planet.
