Description
Cosmo Yuki begins as a teenager living on the planet Solo with his archaeologist father until the Buff Clan’s invasion shatters their peace. Forced into combat when alien forces attack, he pilots the Ideo-Delta unit of the Ideon, a colossal mecha forged from three ancient spacecraft. Though initially driven yet untested, his resolve strengthens as allies fall and Solo’s destruction forces survivors to flee aboard the Solo Ship. Amid relentless battles, he rises to leadership, his growth shaped by alliances with stoic captain Bes Jordan and Karala Ajiba, a defector from the Buff Clan. Their fractured bond crystallizes during a clash on Kyaral, where a life-saving blood transfusion from Karala underscores their fragile truce.

Losses like Moera Fatima and Sheryl Formosa erode Cosmo’s empathy, replacing grief with cold fury. This metamorphosis awakens his connection to the Ide, an omnipotent force within the Ideon, driving him to spearhead a suicidal strike against the Buff Clan’s Gando Rowa flagship. Both armies perish in the cataclysm, but *Be Invoked* reveals his spirit reunited with fallen comrades—Kasha Imhof, Kitty Kitten, and others—in an ethereal limbo. Karala’s unborn child, Messiah, emerges as a beacon for peace, guiding their transcendence beyond mortal strife.

Expanded narratives like *Gigantis’ Counterattack* reimagine Cosmo’s legacy in alternate timelines, hinting his essence reincarnates into Judau Ashta, a future warrior battling the Ideon’s resurgence. These stories mirror his enduring influence as a symbol against endless conflict, bridging generations in the struggle to break cycles of violence.
