Description
Yoshio Hirooka, a salaryman, resides in a home perpetually mistaken for a garbage dump due to its cluttered state. This fuels constant frustration for his wife, Ritsuko Hirooka. Yoshio’s professional obligations entangle him further, as his boss exploits their household to hoard bizarre mementos gathered abroad. The boss’s wife, determined to discard these trinkets, covertly abandons them at the Hirooka residence under false pretenses of disposal.

Yoshio passively obeys his boss’s demands to safeguard the collection, amplifying domestic distress despite the severe inconvenience. His compliance arises from workplace subordination and pressure to indulge his superior’s eccentric whims. Yoshio’s father intervenes, intensifying familial complications.

The central conflict stems from Yoshio’s inability to reject his boss’s impositions, breeding recurring marital strife. The Hirookas battle to preserve normalcy as their living space steadily vanishes beneath their employer’s unwanted artifacts.
