Description
Dashtacker emerges when Autobot Multiforce members Dash and Tacker combine, originating from Planet V in Generation 1 continuity. This fusion creates a singular warrior entity: Dash forms the upper body and Tacker the lower body in combined robot mode. Their distinct personalities—Dash's impulsive haste against Tacker's calm military strategy—blend into a tactical approach marked by patient calculation followed by explosive action.

Within the *Victory* anime continuity, Dashtacker served alongside Wingwaver at the Sector One Galactic Defense Force base. An early incident saw Dashtacker publicly confront Autobot Supreme Commander Star Saber over a misinterpreted plan concerning Wingwaver's reassignment, resulting in embarrassment when clarification proved Star Saber always intended Wingwaver's inclusion. Later, during an Amazon rainforest mission, Tacker (individually) got stuck in mud, accidentally exposing the Autobots' position—a tactical error. Dashtacker also engaged in recreational activities like volleyball with the Multiforce and human Jan Minakaze, and assisted in testing combat inventions such as the light-based "Flasher" device against the Decepticon Dinoforce.

In combat, Dashtacker harnesses Dash's solar-power and Tacker's magma manipulation to unleash the "Multi Turbo Fire Attack." This technique destabilizes terrain and melts targets via intense heat by drawing geothermal energy from Earth's magma while simultaneously absorbing solar energy, culminating in a devastating explosion. Technical specifications depict a balanced warrior: Strength 7, Intelligence 6, Speed 8, Endurance 7, Rank 6, Courage 6, Firepower 7, Skill 8, totaling 56 points.

Dashtacker frequently contributes to larger combiners, primarily forming Landcross's right arm (as Dash) and right leg (as Tacker)—the combined form of the six-member Multiforce. While theoretically capable of forming Landcross's torso due to shared engineering, the design lacks necessary limb connection points. In a non-anime *Micromaster* manga story, Dash and Tacker combined into Dashtacker to battle Decepticon Sixbuilders, separating to reconfigure into Landcross when overwhelmed by the stronger Sixwing.

Within the *Victory* comic, Dashtacker joined Star Saber, Wingwaver, and Machtackle responding to an Earth distress call, battling Decepticon combiner Dinoking as part of Landcross. Later, Star Saber stationed Dashtacker alongside Machtackle and Wingwaver to guard the Galaxy Shuttle. Dreamwave's Generation One comics briefly showed Dashtacker among Autobots expressing frustration with Prowl's Cybertron leadership, with Ultra Magnus intervening to defuse tensions.

Toy representations include the 1989 Takara *Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers* release (C-317), sold as a two-pack with accessories like the "Multi-Dash Gun" and Landcross fist/foot components. The combined form features an alternate "Tackerdash" mode sporting a Tacker-dominant head. A 1995 modified Chinese release altered packaging to remove Takara branding. The 2004 *Micromaster* reissues separated Dash and Tacker into individual toys with slight deco changes, including rare "Stealth Mode" black variants.

Dashtacker is known regionally as Batchtaster (Omni Productions English dub), Jí Fēng (疾风, "Storm") in Chinese, and Bombardir (Бомбардир, "Bombardier") in Russian.
