Description
Giga is a human male bonded with his wife Mega to the Gigatank transtector, forming the combined Decepticon Godmaster Overlord under Devil Z's command. Their recruitment differs by continuity; the anime leaves it unexplained, while the manga shows Devil Z resurrecting them from drowning in an ocean trench and bonding them to a stolen transtector from the G Nebula. Designated "Ambassadors of Destruction," they lead Earth's Decepticon forces from a secret island base, hunting for other Godmasters like the German brothers Hydra and Buster.

Giga pilots the Gigatank transtector separately from Mega's Megajet, merging to become Overlord – a powerful robot capable of space flight or reconfiguring into an armed base. Overlord proves superior in early combat, nearly killing Autobot commander Ginrai in their desert encounter. Despite allegiance to Devil Z, Giga believes in human self-determination, clashing with Devil Z's genocidal plans like the Death Para-Machine. This conflict deepens when Devil Z abandons the Headmaster Juniors and forcibly transforms Hydra and Buster into full robots.

On the Matterhorn, Giga and Mega intervene as Devil Z (possessing BlackZarak) punishes Hydra and Buster for failure. Rescued from Devil Z's retaliation by Ginrai, they defect and aid him. Devil Z retaliates by forcibly separating them from their transtector with Devil Power, causing their Masterbraces to vanish. They die in the snow, whispering regret over their unresolved rivalry with Ginrai. The Overlord transtector gains sentience and flees Earth with the remaining Decepticons.

In later continuities within the Legends World, a revived Devil Z resurrects Giga and Mega. They manipulate events through double agents like Clouder and seek a Ginrai rematch. Using stolen Master-Braces and a new transtector, they master Shinchōkon spirit energy, enabling Mega to control a second Overlord transtector. Combining both transtectors creates Overlord Tera, defeated when Ginrai taps into Shinchōkon. After Devil Z's defeat, they stay in the Legends World, running a restaurant while awaiting another fight with Ginrai. During this time, Giga helps Sixshot resurrect the human Jack by infusing Sixshot's body with Shinchōkon. They later reform Overlord Tera to defeat a reborn Devil Z/BlackZarak entity.

Giga reappears elsewhere as part of Overlord, serving among Violen Jigar's "Nine Great Demon Generals" attacking planets like Feminia and Zone. Turtler recalls Giga's disrespect toward him during a Precursor World battle. The manga adaptation depicts Giga and Mega in a more parental role toward the Headmaster Juniors and suffering physical ejections from Overlord during battles due to severe damage.
