By the modern era, Lander resided in New York City, immersing himself enthusiastically in human culture. He cultivated a passion for earthly pleasures: collecting wine, attending concerts, and dating human women. Completing his human persona, he habitually wore glasses despite their lack of functional necessity and worked as an automotive dealer. This lifestyle reflected his deep appreciation for Earth's finer aspects, though he remained ever-ready for Autobot duties.
Physically, Lander possesses the greatest strength among the Autobot Pretenders, though his combat skills are noted as competent rather than exceptional.
