TV-Series
Description
A diminutive Transformer gifted to the Decepticon Headmaster Junior Cancer by the Decepticon Godmaster Mega to alleviate Cancer's growing melancholy. Though occasionally described as a pet, Browning possesses full sentience and autonomy, functioning primarily as Cancer's devoted companion. Unwavering loyalty defines his character, driving him to undertake any action for Cancer's benefit.

Browning transforms into a human-scaled Browning M1910 pistol without changing size. In pistol mode, he requires a wielder to operate and cannot fire independently. When wielded, he draws upon the user's energy to supercharge his projectiles. His ammunition typically consists of non-lethal substances like smoke capsules, confetti, water, flags, or doves, reflecting his aversion to lethal force.

Within the *Super-God Masterforce* anime, Mega presents Browning to Cancer during a period of doubt regarding the Decepticon cause and Cancer's conflicted feelings towards the Autobot Headmaster Junior Minerva. Browning's presence initially uplifts Cancer's spirits, though Cancer's playful habit of spinning him gunslinger-style causes discomfort.

Browning actively participates in Decepticon missions alongside Cancer and fellow Junior Headmasters Wilder and Bullhorn. During an aerial mission, Cancer tasked Browning with piloting their helicopter while the Juniors disembarked mid-air, resulting in a crash. In a subsequent attack intended to draw out Autobots, the group instead attracted the violent Autobot Sixknight. When Sixknight threatened the Juniors' lives, Browning transformed into pistol mode and was fired by Minerva, releasing smoke capsules that enabled their escape.

Browning consistently defends Cancer. When Cancer visited his hometown in China and faced hostility from former peers blaming him for Decepticon-related destruction, Browning incapacitated the attackers with swift kicks. Following BlackZarak's assault on the town and Cancer's rescue by Autobots from a collapsed building, Browning petitioned the Autobots for aid despite his Decepticon allegiance. This act deepened Cancer's doubts about the Decepticons. Browning later supported Cancer's decision to defect to the Autobots, accompanying him without hesitation and declaring he would desert the Decepticon faction before abandoning Cancer.

After the defection, Browning remained at Cancer's side. He participated in battles such as the confrontation with the Sparkdash creatures, though he struggled with their heat emissions, and joined the collective effort during the Autobots' desperate attack on the Decepticon base. After Devil Z stripped Cancer and other former Decepticon Juniors of their Transtectors, Browning stayed with Cancer. They later sheltered in an underground refugee camp during Devil Z's Devil Power bombardment of Europe, where Browning expressed concern over humanity's potential extinction if Devil Z remained unchecked. After Devil Z's defeat, Browning presumably remained with Cancer as the boy returned to a normal life, rather than departing Earth with other Transformers.

In other media, Browning appears in the *Legends* comic continuity. Here, he accompanied Cancer to the Legends World and encouraged him to accept Shockwave's offer to become a pop idol, viewing it as beneficial publicity for the Chōryūken dojo. Within the 2005 IDW continuity, Browning was part of Deathsaurus's Decepticon forces aboard the Warworld, aligning with the Decepticon Justice Division.

Browning's toy origins trace back to Takara's Micro Change line "Gun Robo" subset prior to *Transformers* integration. Released as part of the *Super-God Masterforce* toyline (D-308), his toy transformed into a realistic pistol capable of firing bullets or included fist accessories via a spring-loaded mechanism triggered by the sight above the muzzle. The toy featured two chromed "Sniper Shot" rifles for robot mode. While his cartoon model used a bronze-and-blue color scheme, the toy utilized silver chrome with blue plastic.

A non-transforming Legacy toy version was released in 2024 as an accessory for the Legacy United "G1 Universe Squeezeplay" figure in a Target-exclusive multi-pack, reflecting the original toy's silver coloration rather than the cartoon's bronze.

Browning is characterized by his use of the Kansai dialect in Japanese media. His foreign names include "B.M." in the Omni Productions English-Malay dub and "Tissy" in Italian localizations.
