Description
Professor Kitty serves as a scientist and mentor, raising Princess Aurora as a maternal figure after the princess's parents perish. Her scientific expertise reveals the galaxy's impending crisis: the aging Queen of the Great Planet and destabilizing universe due to diminishing Galaxy Energy. Recognizing the threat, she assigns Aurora a critical mission—travel 30,000 light years to the galaxy's core to restore balance. She specifically directs Aurora to recruit Jan Kugo, a cyborg imprisoned on the Moon, as her guardian for the perilous journey.

Professor Kitty actively facilitates the mission's launch by providing the Queen Cosmos spaceship. She also consults Assistant Professor Dodge, creator of Kugo's cyborg body, regarding Kugo's role in protecting Aurora. Though her direct involvement across the 73-episode journey remains undetailed, she persists as the instigating authority behind the quest. Conceptually, her character reimagines Guanyin, the bodhisattva of compassion from *Journey to the West*, within the series' science fiction framework. Her portrayal consistently reflects a knowledgeable scientist and caring guardian who initiates the central narrative.
