Born on February 12, 1950, she has lent her voice to a wide array of characters across numerous genres, establishing her as a familiar presence in Korean popular culture.

Her career encompasses a significant number of anime roles, where she has portrayed both heroic and villainous characters. Among her notable anime credits are the roles of Professor Kitty in Science Fiction Saiyuki Starzinger, Milady in Anime Sanjushi, and Pipi in Umi no Triton. She also voiced the character Pakkun in Paul no Miracle Daisakusen and the antagonist Doronjyo in Yatterman.
