Description
Adão originates as the first human, created by God from earthly dust and animated by divine breath. God placed him in the Garden of Eden, granting stewardship over creation and permitting him to eat fruit from any tree except the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. His existence embodied innocence and harmony.

To address Adão's solitude, God fashioned his companion, Eve, from his rib. They lived together in mutual vulnerability without shame. A serpent, representing rebellion, deceived Eve into eating the forbidden fruit; she shared it with Adão, who consumed it willingly. This act brought awareness of their nakedness, prompting them to fashion fig leaf coverings and hide from God.

Confronted, Adão blamed Eve, who then implicated the serpent. Divine curses followed: Adão's punishment meant laborious toil for sustenance, tilling thorn-infested ground until his return to dust. Expelled from Eden to prevent access to the Tree of Life, they faced mortality guarded by cherubim.

Outside Eden, Adão and Eve endured their ordained hardships and bore children. Their first sons, Cain and Abel, became central figures; Cain's jealousy over God's favor toward Abel led to fratricide, extending the consequences of rebellion. Adão later fathered Seth and other unnamed children, his lineage documented in genealogical records.

The narrative underscores Adão's role in humanity's shared origin and the introduction of sin, his actions affecting all generations. His story concludes within these familial events.
