Shinoyama attends the same high school as protagonist Kozuke Atami and participates with him in taking obscene photographs of female students. During one photography session, they encounter a mysterious girl in a hallway who smiles at Kozuke, prompting Shinoyama to capture her image. Later discoveries suggest this girl may be a ghost tied to school haunting rumors. Shinoyama spreads a rumor across the school that Kozuke is cursed, causing fearful students to avoid Kozuke. This isolation leaves Kozuke reliant solely on his childhood friend Shizuka for support.
