Born on April 13, 1973, in Barcelona, he began his career in dubbing at the age of ten. He is part of a prominent family of voice actors; his father was Albert Trifol i Verdú, a well-known actor and director, and his sister is Núria Trifol, also a distinguished voice actress.

Trifol Segarra has built a prolific career, becoming the habitual Spanish voice for several international actors. He is notably the regular dubbing voice for Leonardo DiCaprio in many of his film roles, as well as for actors like Brad Renfro, Eddie Kaye Thomas, and Casey Affleck. This work on live-action films constitutes a major part of his professional profile.

In the realm of animation and anime, his voice work is extensive and spans decades. He has voiced a wide array of characters, demonstrating his versatility. One of his most recent and prominent roles is as the protagonist Hitohito Tadano in the anime series Komi Can't Communicate.
