Description
Makoto Nakatake manages idol Shiratori Nagisa for her agency. His core task is overseeing her career, constantly challenged by Nagisa's habit of ditching professional duties for personal whims. Fearing her unpredictability threatens his job security, he's plagued by persistent anxiety, channeled into a self-penned tune he calls "The Worry Blues."

When Nagisa disguises herself as male student Ootori Nagisa and enrolls in school, Nakatake embarks on his own undercover mission. He assumes the identity of a teenage boy at the same institution to monitor her directly. Yet, this close surveillance proves futile. Even sharing her school environment, he fails to curb her truancy or reliably prevent her from skipping work due to her double life.

His character is defined by this relentless tug-of-war between professional obligation and his practical inability to control his charge. The ever-present dread of unemployment forms his narrative core, with "The Worry Blues" underscoring his perpetual state of concern.
