Description
Seventeen-year-old Shana T. works for Volg Production Studio in the mid-26th century as a documentary team member investigating extraterrestrial civilizations and alien relics. Her assignments focus on reporting archaeological discoveries, particularly those neglected by the dominant Hartz Bougen Corporation. She actively deciphers alien languages during missions, driven by intense personal curiosity about extraterrestrial cultures.

Shana originated as a genetic clone engineered by the Hartz Bougen Corporation, created from a mummified Al Caral corpse to harness knowledge of this vanished galaxy-ruling species. The corporation believed its sole successful Al Caral clone died in a laboratory fire nine years earlier, but Shana survived undetected.

She possesses a latent biological connection to Al Caral technology. Early events reveal this when her eyes glow during an unconscious interaction with a relic carving on Planet Badam. Toryune, a Saanan alien created by the Al Caral, later confirms her identity as Al Caral during his corporate transport.

Shana's Al Caral heritage awakens after witnessing Toryune's humanoid form die in a failed rescue. This trauma triggers a transformation, unlocking potent psychic abilities. She uses these powers to compel the head of Hartz Bougen Corporation and his security team to commit suicide.

Post-transformation, she shifts from documentary reporter to active interstellar participant. She persuades Volg colleagues to aid in rescuing Toryune. Afterward, she prepares to return his surviving reptilian symbiote to its native Planet Go 7498, accepting her role in restoring balance.

Her eyes occasionally glow during intense alien-tech interactions or emotional surges. She wears practical field attire, including a red vinyl bodysuit, and has martial arts training of unspecified extent. Her personality merges determination with insatiable curiosity about alien cultures, defying corporate monopolies.

Zach Isedo, head of the HBC station orbiting Planet Go 7498, later identifies Shana as his mother and himself as her son, implying her involvement in genetic engineering projects without clarifying specifics.
