Dr. Akihiro Okabe, a colleague and fiancé of Dr. Manami Shibata, remains oblivious to her secret affair with Ikuko, a wealthy heiress targeted by Manami for murder to claim her fortune and solidify her future with Okabe. His loyalty to Manami fractures when Tanaka—Ikuko’s former suitor, magically transformed into a woman by Kayuga, a celestial observer—seduces him. Though Okabe initially resists, he succumbs to Tanaka’s advances, disregarding his engagement.

During a clash at Okabe’s apartment, Kayuga alters Manami’s perception of Tanaka, temporarily restoring his male form to her eyes. Mistaking Okabe’s involvement in a same-sex affair, Manami recoils in horror as Okabe, unaware of the illusion, affirms his attraction to Tanaka’s female presentation. Fleeing the scene, she leaves Okabe vulnerable to Tanaka, who—reverting fully to his original identity—overpowers him.
