Yūmi Takeshita is a cheerful individual who works as a police officer assigned to the Tawagoto precinct. During middle school, she was narrowly saved from being hit by a truck by a stranger. Years later, while attempting her first arrest as an officer, she encounters that same stranger again. He is identified as Tohru Ichidaiji, a magician. Yūmi is charmed to finally meet him and, due to being assigned various odd tasks in her duties, repeatedly asks for help from the handy Tohru.
