Description
Kyōji Hino, designated "No. 1," entered cryogenic sleep in 2040 due to cellular sclerosis. He awoke five years later into a world devastated by the MK Virus, which had eliminated 99.9% of males. Identified as the first immune male, he was swiftly enrolled in the global UW (United World) repopulation initiative. His core duty involved mating with women to produce offspring and ensure humanity's survival, a role managed by his dedicated secretary, Neneko Isurugi. Kyōji embraced this role with enthusiasm, perceiving the new world as a paradise granting him freedom with numerous women.

Physically, Kyōji possessed a muscular yet slim build, standing 178 cm tall. His appearance featured messy blond hair streaked with black and distinctive golden eyes. A practical jumpsuit was his typical daily attire.

Kyōji exhibited an outgoing, hedonistic personality, openly reveling in his status as a vital breeder. He took pride in his sexual encounters, frequently citing partners like idols, models, and actresses. His daily routine reflected this: waking at 9 AM, consuming nutritional supplements, undergoing medical exams, and dedicating substantial time to mating sessions. Leisure included movies, music, playing electric guitar, singing, and flirting. He disliked early mornings but enjoyed tennis and physical exercise, often followed by communal bathing with partners. Despite this carefree exterior, Kyōji demonstrated fierce protectiveness. He lashed out at UW representative Chloe Mansfield when she threatened his lover Rena Kitayama, defending her innocence. His compassion also surfaced in mediating disputes, like persuading rivals Rika and another woman to mate together despite their reluctance. Ultimately, this protectiveness culminated in him sacrificing his life to shield his infant son from UW gunfire.

Significant relationships defined his life. Neneko Isurugi acted as his logistical coordinator and confidante, facilitating communications and advising him during UW conflicts. Rena Kitayama, a former actress, became a primary romantic partner, joining his daily massages and bathing rituals. Rika, sharing a pre-pandemic connection from a restaurant job, reignited their bond during repopulation duties, though tensions arose with other women. Kyōji also expressed concern for fellow immune male Reito Mizuhara, advising him on mating reluctance and covertly assisting via deep-web communications after Reito became a UW target. His protective instincts extended to Reito's sister Mahiru, whom he requested to meet for tea despite Reito's hesitation.

His repopulation efforts yielded biological success: mating with nearly 100 women resulted in 28 confirmed fertilizations and viable offspring. This included at least one confirmed son, Kyoichi Hino, born to Yukari Kusakabe. Kyōji's emotional investment in fatherhood surfaced when reflecting on impending parenthood with Reito, acknowledging his children's significance for humanity's future despite their potential treatment as research specimens.

Pivotal conflicts marked his narrative. He vehemently defended Rena against Chloe Mansfield's demand for her removal, leading to Rena's relocation under Neneko's supervision. Later, after Reito's capture by terrorists, Kyōji used a specialized tablet from Neneko for covert deep-web contact, bypassing UW surveillance. His story concluded during the altercation with UW forces where he died shielding his infant son.

The etymology of his name reflects character aspects: "Kyōji" combines "respectful, polite" (恭) and "officer/boss" (司), while "Hino" signifies "fire, flame" (火) and "field, wilderness" (野).
