OVA
Description
Uzuki Toreishi is the fourth of five sisters in the Hummingbirds idol-pilot squadron. Born on April 20, she is 15 during the main storyline and later turns 16. She has brown hair, violet eyes, and blood type O.
Physically, Uzuki shows more advanced development than her older sister Satsuki, notably in breast size, which contributes to Satsuki's insecurities. Her personality blends a relaxed, slow demeanor with sharp perceptiveness, often delivering incisive commentary to her sisters intentionally or unintentionally. She pursues an unusual hobby caring for marimo balls in a tank, doting on them, singing to them, and occasionally carrying them in a bag.
Within the squadron, Uzuki pilots the HB-04 aircraft—a large multirole bomber, carrier, and supply craft requiring JATO modules for takeoff due to its size. She favors the F-4 Phantom, aligning with her heavy-aircraft specialization. During missions, she typically flies as the front-seat pilot with her youngest sister Mina as co-pilot, RIO, or backseater.
In the group's idol activities, Uzuki performs solo, unlike her sisters who sing in duets or as a group.
Her family includes her mother, Hazuki Toreishi, who manages their idol careers and military contracts; her grandfather, Bun Toreishi, designer and builder of their aircraft; her father, Yuma Toreishi, a fighter pilot missing since a mission; and sisters Kanna (eldest), Yayoi (second eldest), Satsuki (third eldest), and Mina (youngest). Her interactions feature recurring physical comparisons with Satsuki and her co-pilot dynamic with Mina.
