Fumie Kusachi is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on November 24, 1969, in Tokyo, Japan. She began her entertainment career in 1993 and was active in anime voice acting and music throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Her career encompassed work in original video animations, television series, video games, and radio programs, as well as a parallel career as a recording artist.

Kusachi is known for several prominent voice roles in anime OVAs and series from the 1990s. One of her early major roles was as Uzuki Toreishi in the 1993 OVA series Idol Defense Force Hummingbird, a role she reprised across multiple installments of the franchise. She also provided the voice for Luffy in the 1996 OVA Gall Force: The Revolution and for Koran Enno in the 1997 OVA Demon Fighter Kocho. Another of her notable performances was as Micchi Hatogaya, a recurring character she voiced in the long-running television series Crayon Shin-chan starting in 1997, as well as in several of the franchise's theatrical films. Her other anime credits include roles in OVAs such as Kyō Kara Ore Wa!! as Riko Akasaka, Twin Signal as No. 3, and the television series Fancy Lala as Miki Yumeno.

In addition to her voice acting, Fumie Kusachi maintained an active career as a singer. She performed theme songs for several of the anime projects in which she starred, including the opening themes for the Idol Defense Force Hummingbird OVA. Her discography includes five studio albums released between 1989 and 1998, such as Wings of Angel and Pure, as well as numerous singles. She also participated in various anime character CD releases and radio dramas related to her roles. Her work in radio included hosting programs such as 岩田光央と草地章江のふたりH and 草地章江の世界征服しちゃう宣言.
