Description
A Koga ninja and mastermind behind the Kinme Kyo cult, this antagonist plots to seize Kyoto using a golden-eyed robotic statue armed with laser beams, its piloting cockpit merging feudal-era aesthetics with advanced technology. Presumed dead after an initial defeat, they reemerge to establish Manji Tou—a cadre of seven cape-clad ninjas marked by forehead swastikas—shifting focus to securing three energy-charged bells crafted by foreign inventor Pedro. Their campaigns employ the Daimanji, a colossal spherical vehicle traversing air and water.

Later alliances with samurai lord Yuzato DannoJo and Negoro ninjas pivot to assassinating Nobunaga Oda, deploying kaiju-inspired monstrosities such as towering insects and carnivorous flora in relentless battles. The conflict peaks as the ninja commands twelve Mafuu warriors to steal a sacred golden mask from the protagonist’s village, a heist culminating in the protagonist’s father’s death. Each subordinate wields bizarre weaponry or monstrous allies, intensifying confrontations.

Evolving from manipulating cults and machinery to orchestrating military coalitions and mythological beast warfare, the antagonist persists as a recurring threat across arcs, driven by insatiable ambition. Their reign concludes with defeat in the fourth narrative segment, ending their dominion over the series’ conflicts. Though the 2001 film reboot reenvisions the core story, this character’s arc remains absent from spin-offs or alternate media.
