Description
Nico operates "Mysterious Wares Shop Akatsuki," inherited from his great-grandmother Ayame, whose past life ties into his lineage. The shop deals exclusively in supernatural items designed to cure mysterious ailments, including artifacts like a paper eye, a truth-revealing teapot, and a concealment cloth.

Visually, he presents as a young man sporting short light brown hair, usually clad in a practical white shirt and apron. Though blind, his eyes open within deposition spaces, unveiling distinctive yellow irises.

His blindness is counterbalanced by extraordinary sensory acuity. He navigates his surroundings using echolocation, emitting sound waves via claps to pinpoint objects and gauge distances. Physical contact allows him to perceive personality traits through touch, while his senses of smell and taste are exceptionally sharp. These heightened abilities also grant him perception of spiritual entities.

He shares a close, brotherly bond with Ramune, a friendship rooted in childhood. Nico collaborates with Ayame, who crafts the supernatural items stocked in their shop. His interactions with Kuro occur when Ramune dispatches him to the shop for missions or to collect specific items.

His name derives from the kanji for "rust-colored, red, red lead, pills" (丹) and "self, snake, serpent" (己). Nico maintains a consistently warm and kind disposition, earning him the affectionate nickname "the smiley man" from neighborhood children.
