Description
Claire Leonelli, known as "Vampire," leads the Leonelli crime family in Judoh after inheriting control from his late father Lorenzo. At 19, he stands 5'6" with a slight build, violet eyes, and black hair dyed blue. His father's abusive upbringing demanded he become a worthy successor while rejecting his inherent traits, inflicting deep psychological trauma. This manifests as emotional instability, violent outbursts, and an inferiority complex. He harbors fierce resentment toward his father and scorns society as "trash," often described as brashly immature, insane, and unpredictable. He habitually carries hand grenades, calling them "fireworks," yet possesses a 148 IQ.

He rules the Leonelli family through fear, with members wary of provoking his rage. His three loyal bodyguards—Giovanni Gallo, Mitchal Rubenstein, and Ian Nulse—protect him, with Giovanni serving as his constant confidant. Mauro, a longtime family advisor, voices concern for Claire but ultimately betrays him. Other Judoh crime syndicate leaders distrust Claire’s volatility, resisting his authority.

Across the series, Claire evolves dramatically. Initially, his desperate bid to prove himself and escape his father's shadow drives extreme violence and instability. Political corruption forces him out of the mafia, resulting in two bodyguards' deaths and Mauro's betrayal. This triggers a weeks-long catatonic state ("Angst Coma"), during which Giovanni nurses him. Post-breakdown, Claire gradually becomes more restrained and strategically effective. By the series' end, he solidifies control over Judoh's underworld, transforming from chaotic to affably evil while providing unexpected stability.

Manga portrayals differ: he exhibits less explosive violence and diminished obsession with his father's legacy. He also dates Trinity, largely ignoring her unless exploiting her robotics expertise, underscoring his emotional detachment. Key arc moments include surviving Russian roulette, attacking a military tank with a grenade, and enduring an attempted theft of his left eye (required for a retinal-scan safe). His final act involves dual-wielding submachine guns in the climactic conflict.
