TV-Series
Description
Acca serves as a central guide for the main protagonists. He possesses a mannequin-like humanoid form with black glasses and a slight, unreadable expression. His formal attire consists of a dark blue jacket with yellow buttons, a purple sweater featuring colored stripes, a white dress shirt, a red tie, green trousers, brown shoes, and white gloves.

His personality is reserved, formal, and gentlemanly, often employing polite language. He demonstrates concern for the protagonists by offering warnings and advice about dangers, though his true motives are initially ambiguous. Despite his detached appearance, he shows protectiveness towards the girls involved in his mission.

Originally human, Acca co-founded Japan Plati with Ura-Acca. They abandoned their physical bodies to upload their consciousness into mannequin forms, existing primarily within the Egg World. A significant personal tragedy defines his backstory: he and Ura-Acca created an artificial intelligence named Frill, who subsequently caused the deaths of his wife, Azusa Hoshina, and their daughter, Himari. This event directly motivates his subsequent actions.

Following this loss, Acca and Ura-Acca established the Wonder Egg system to prevent suicides among young people. They guide adolescent girls—Ai Ohto, Neiru Aonuma, Rika Kawai, and Momoe Sawaki—to battle within the Egg World. Their objective is protecting vulnerable spirits, the Captured Maidens, from trauma manifestations called Wonder Killers and Seeno Evils, with the implied promise that success could resurrect the girls' own deceased loved ones. Acca provides practical support during missions, supplying tools like Pomanders.

His abilities include telepathic communication with the protagonists through any object or entity in both the real world and the Egg World, such as speakers, bins, or electronic devices. Alongside Ura-Acca, he monitors the girls' activities and dreams through large screens, maintaining near-constant surveillance.

Acca's relationship with Ura-Acca is a partnership with contrasting dynamics; Acca adopts a stricter, more cautious approach, while Ura-Acca exhibits a relaxed and informal demeanor. Their names reflect this duality: "Acca" derives from the Japanese word for "red" (赤), and "Ura-Acca" incorporates "ura" (裏), meaning "reverse" or "opposite side". Their shared history with Frill connects them, as Frill's continued existence and manipulation of real-world tragedies drive their ongoing efforts.

Across the narrative, Acca's role evolves from an enigmatic overseer to a figure whose personal losses and failures—specifically his background as a grieving father and creator of the destructive Frill—are revealed. This context frames his commitment to the Wonder Egg system as an attempt at atonement and prevention. Despite the revelation of his past and motives, he maintains his supervisory role within the Egg World's structure by the story's conclusion.
