Bow is a bull terrier distinguished by a black circle around his left eye. His life shifts when third-grade girl Sayaka, daughter of a yakuza family, adopts him. Sayaka's father initially opposes keeping Bow due to the dog's extreme accident-prone behavior and the resulting household disruption. However, the father relents after Bow saves the life of the gang's boss, securing Bow's permanent place in the home. This event cements Bow's role within the family, though his relationship with Sayaka's father remains antagonistic, frequently strained by Bow's ongoing mishaps.
