Description
Born in Brazil to Japanese parents, Hikaru Tatsumura exhibited exceptional soccer talent from childhood. His ambition to become a professional player sparked after encountering an unnamed, widely admired soccer star who became his lifelong role model, driving him to pursue similar recognition.

Off the field, Tatsumura displays a cheerful, easygoing, and lighthearted personality. During matches, however, he transforms into an intensely serious, competitive athlete, demonstrating formidable strength and focus. His technically skilled playing style was initially undermined by undisciplined tendencies: boastfulness, selfish ball retention, and confrontational behavior. These flaws led to his expulsion from his original Brazilian club, with the club president imposing a league-wide blacklist to bar his recruitment elsewhere.

Facing scarce opportunities in Brazil, Tatsumura relocated to Japan and joined Shimizu S-Pulse’s reserve team to rebuild his career. This transition marked his evolution from an individualistic player toward a cooperative teammate, retaining his passionate approach while learning to integrate within a team structure. His on-field expressions include unique celebratory rituals, notably a distinctive comedic dance performed with a close friend after scoring goals.

With Shimizu S-Pulse’s reserves, Tatsumura navigated challenges alongside teammates. Their collective objectives centered on winning the reserve league tournament, advancing to the senior team, and securing selection for the Japanese national squad in FIFA World Cup qualification. Tatsumura’s personal growth involved confronting disciplinary issues, adapting to team dynamics, and sustaining dedication through setbacks. His unwavering goals remained achieving soccer excellence and emulating the revered player who inspired his journey.
