Principe Dandarn is the prince of Bagdad and is closely associated with Princess Shalala, who also hails from the city. He faces a conflict when the cunning mago hechicero Abdullah makes repeated attempts to kidnap the princess. Abdullah seeks to force her into marriage with his master. The prince's story crosses paths with the time-displaced characters Hayato and Yumi after they arrive in ancient Bagdad, where they encounter him.
