Rick, an elderly wild dog and deposed leader of the Lycons, loses his alpha status after being challenged and defeated by Bascar. Determined to reclaim his position, he journeys to the jungle intending to assassinate Leo. Crossing the desert, Rick collapses from exhaustion and is discovered by Leo's children—Lune (also called Rune) and Lukio (also called Rukio)—who rescue him and bring him to the jungle. Exploiting his growing bond with the children, Rick plots to infiltrate Leo's inner circle. But when a flash flood strikes, he confronts a pivotal moment: save Lune and Lukio from drowning in the raging river or pursue his assassination. He chooses to rescue the children, abandoning his vengeful mission. Despite this act, Rick's own pack scorns his mercy, mocking and abandoning him. His story ends tragically as he perishes in the floodwaters. Only Lune and Lukio mourn his death.
