Description
Shockwave, also known as Tidal Wave in some media, is a Decepticon possessing immense size and physical power. Following victories on Dabola, Thrust brings him to Earth to reinforce Megatron's forces against the Autobots. His arrival triggers a beachfront battle; initial clumsiness in vehicle mode capsizes him, but he swiftly transforms and overwhelms the Autobots, forcing their retreat.
His signature ability is Powerlinx combination with Megatron, forming "Burning Megatron." This fusion grants Megatron enhanced flight and increased firepower, used against foes like Jet Optimus. Effective initially, the combination is later countered by the Requiem Blaster, injuring both Shockwave and Megatron.
