Description
Thrust, a veteran Decepticon tactician, answered Megatron's summons to Earth to strengthen military discipline and strategy. His immediate appointment as Megatron's second-in-command ignited lasting resentment in Starscream and Demolisher, fueled by his perceived arrogance and rapid rise. He partnered with the Mini-Con Inferno, exploiting their shared cloaking ability to achieve invisibility during combat and retreats.

Renowned for orchestrating Decepticon triumphs on Vector, Ogre, and Duke, Thrust initially displayed formidable strategic prowess. He devised plans to eliminate the Autobots, such as luring Optimus Prime into a gully with a false Mini-Con signal and engineering an ambush to destroy Jetfire while stealing the Skyboom Shield. These schemes frequently failed due to unforeseen Autobot adaptations, like Optimus Prime's Powerlinx combination with Jetfire or the unexpected arrival of the Requiem Blaster, revealing Thrust's recurring weakness when forced to improvise.

His personality blended intellectual superiority with overt smugness and sycophancy toward Megatron, whom he praised using superstitious divinations and omens. This earned him Megatron's dismissive nickname "Squidhead" and widespread contempt. Thrust openly criticized internal disunity, subtly implicating the enigmatic Sideways for factional strife. Anticipating betrayals, such as Sideways manipulating Demolisher into attacking him, Thrust countered by having Starscream surveil Sideways.

Thrust spearheaded the deployment of the colossal Tidal Wave, directing assaults that initially overwhelmed Autobot forces. He later prioritized securing the Requiem Blaster, orchestrating a jungle diversion enabling Megatron to steal the weapon from Smokescreen. This success intensified his hubris and worsened tensions with Starscream, whom Thrust and Megatron disparaged as expendable. Starscream overhearing this conversation triggered his defection to the Autobots.

Frustrated by diminishing respect and failed strategies, Thrust allied with Sideways, who revealed the combined potential of the three Mini-Con weapons. This partnership fueled Thrust's ambition to overthrow Megatron. He manipulated Starscream into rejoining the Decepticons and stealing the Skyboom Shield, enabling the creation of the planet-destroying Hydra Cannon. Thrust oversaw its test fire on a comet and advocated its use against Earth, culminating in Optimus Prime's sacrificial interception of the blast.

During the journey to Cybertron, Thrust openly reveled in Unicron-related catastrophes, like a black hole destroying Decepticon ships. His betrayal was exposed when he stole the Skyboom Shield and Requiem Blaster, delivering them to Sideways to awaken Unicron. Perched on Unicron's shoulder, Thrust cheered Cybertron's destruction, declared allegiance to the chaos-bringer, and taunted Galvatron (formerly Megatron). Cornered by Galvatron within Unicron's machinery, Thrust's cowardice surfaced; he begged for mercy before being crushed to death.
