Barua, a secondary antagonist of the Vile Tribe, operates under Memphis's command. Her scheme involves kidnapping top students from the Magic School to hold them hostage, demanding the institution surrender the immense power of the mythical Blue Dragon in exchange.

She possesses a volatile and aggressive demeanor, frequently erupting into violent outbursts. Her weapon of choice is a whip, used both in combat and to threaten captives. Her personality is uncontrollable and prone to frenzied reactions, often escalating situations impulsively. Barua exhibits a preoccupation with young boys and employs mind-control magic to manipulate them.

During a confrontation with protagonists Ellie, Rena, and Senia, Barua subdues and captures them along with their feline companion using her whip. She threatens to execute the hostages by casting them into molten lava, later revealed to be mere hot water. Barua is defeated when the captured cat transforms into the Blue Dragon, empowering the protagonists to overwhelm her.

Operating within Memphis's fortress, Barua coordinates with subordinates like the minotaur Minotaurus. While loyal to Memphis, her rash decisions and failures during the protagonists' infiltration contribute to the chaotic defense of the base.
