Description
Born Phoenixman on April 1, 1960, Super Phoenix entered the world alongside Kinnikuman and four other boys in the same hospital. A subsequent fire cast doubt on their true identities, seeding lifelong uncertainty over the rightful heir to Planet Kinniku's throne. Raised in harsh poverty, he nurtured profound jealousy towards Kinnikuman, who seemed untouched by hardship. This bitterness reshaped his character, transforming innate kindness into ruthless brutality as a wrestler.

His path was marked by struggle: his father's death barred him from an earlier tournament to prove his lineage, and he ignored severe heart disease to pursue training. Chosen as a champion by the God of Intelligence during the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc, he gained enhanced powers and the name Kinnikuman Super Phoenix. Convinced by his ailing mother's deathbed words of his royal birthright, he assembled a team of vicious Chojin to challenge Kinnikuman.

Within the tournament, his ruthlessness knew limits. He defeated Kinnikuman Big Body using the Muscle Revenger, a technique thought unique to Kinniku royalty. He killed Ataru Kinniku (posing as Kinnikuman Soldier) by burning his Muscle Prophecy page, erasing him from existence. During the finals, he imposed lethal stipulations tied to burning prophecy pages and demanded Bibimba's hand alongside the throne. Yet, he showed unexpected concern when Bibimba fell, halting the match to aid her.

A turning point came when his mother, Shizuko, arrived and confessed her lie about his royal lineage, meant only to comfort him. She revealed his ability to use the Kinniku Clan's Face Flash resulted from her bathing him in the sacred Muscle Falls as an infant. Despite this revelation, he attacked Kinnikuman but was felled by a heart attack and defeated. Spared and revived by Kinnikuman, who offered him a government position he repeatedly refused, Super Phoenix emerged calmer and more cunning, though occasionally arrogant.

He later returned with the other Fated Princes (excluding Ataru) to battle Omega Centauri’s Six Spears. Utilizing hidden historical knowledge, he orchestrated battles across global castles. Facing Omegaman Aristera at Azuchi Castle, he taunted him about Dexia’s death, surviving the Omega Apocalypse Crash through tactical calculation. He countered with the Phoenix Thunder Storm, revealing a portal to the Chojin Graveyard, showcasing his strategic role against threats like the arrogant Choshin, whom he despised.

His relationships were layered. He maintained a bitter rivalry with Kinnikuman, shifting from contempt to acknowledging his worthiness. He defeated and humiliated Big Body yet later partnered with him amicably. Mammothman remained a loyal right-hand ally despite prior betrayal, for which Super Phoenix apologized. His mother, Shizuko, was his profound emotional anchor, her interventions repeatedly swaying him. He distrusted the God of Intelligence, associating with him purely for tactical gain.

Physically, he wears simple blue pants, boots, and a cape removed for matches. His mask resembles Kinnikuman’s but features distinct patterns and white eyes. His abilities include the Muscle Revenger, Face Flash, analytical prediction for damage reduction, the Phoenix Madness Wave for mind control and memory absorption, the Niku Curtain forcefield, and causality manipulation via the Muscle Prophecy. His base Chojin Power is 950,000, amplified to 100,000,000 by the God of Intelligence.

In later arcs, he fought alongside former enemies against the Choshin, evolving from antagonist to pragmatic defender of Earth.
