Description
King Mayumi Kinniku reigns as Planet Kinniku's 57th sovereign and father to Ataru and Suguru Kinniku. He bears the kanji "王" (king) on his forehead, stands 191-193 cm tall, weighs 115-134 kg, and possesses a Choujin Power of 650,000. His signature techniques are the Iron Claw and Kinniku Flash, though he never mastered the Kinniku Clan's Three Great Secret Techniques and avoids the Face Flash.

Son of the 56th king, Tatsunori Kinniku (inventor of the Niku Curtain), Mayumi shared childhood adventures with rival Harabote Muscle, including a pivotal encounter where the imprisoned Nemesis implored him to reform the Kinniku Clan's oppressive legacy. He married Sayuri Kinniku, fathering Ataru and Suguru. His parenting proved contradictory: strict training drove Ataru away, yet he indulged Suguru while displaying neglect—attempting to strangle infant Suguru for his "stupid face" and accidentally abandoning him on Earth after mistaking him for a pig. This error allowed the pig, King Tōn, to seize the throne.

To reclaim his crown, Mayumi dispatched Meat to retrieve Suguru from Earth. Though Suguru initially failed against King Tōn, Mayumi exploited the chaos to regain the King's Belt. Despite frequently ridiculing or disowning Suguru, Mayumi consistently supported him in tournaments, arranging his entry into the 20th and 21st Chōjin Olympics and providing strategic aid. His comedic rivalry with Harabote Muscle continued through exhibition matches, disrupting events like Suguru's coronation.

During the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne, Mayumi faced a crisis when the Five Evil Gods contested Suguru's legitimacy, citing a potential hospital fire baby swap. While attacking Harabote for doubting Suguru, Mayumi publicly upheld royal impartiality yet privately aided his son. He revealed critical information during matches, exposing Kinnikuman Mariposa's Muscle Revenge as fraudulent. Mayumi also safeguarded the Kinniku Clan's Prophecy Book, using it to deduce Kinnikuman Soldier was his lost son Ataru, who sacrificed himself to protect Suguru, triggering Ataru's gradual erasure from existence.

In later years, Mayumi outlived Sayuri and mentored grandson Mantarou, mirroring his dynamic with Suguru—combining comedic berating with unwavering support. He and Harabote resumed roles as key supporters during tag tournaments. Professionally, Mayumi achieved dual Chōjin Olympic championships and held titles like Intergalactic Grappling Champion. His win-loss record includes draws and losses against Harabote Muscle and King Tōn, with occasional victories via submission holds like the Figure-Four Leg Lock.
