Description
Neptuneman, originally named Quarrelman, is a British Perfect Choujin hailing from England. An exceptionally powerful wrestler disillusioned by the lack of worthy opponents, he attempted suicide by jumping into the River Thames. There, he encountered the reclusive Perfect Choujin Neptune King, who revealed their faction's tenets. Neptune King bestowed the Neptune Mask upon him, transforming him into Neptuneman and granting him control over electromagnetic forces drawn from Earth's magnetic field.
As Neptuneman, he partnered with Neptune King (now Big the Budo) to form the tag team Hell Missionaries. They orchestrated an invasion of Earth to collect defeated Choujins' masks, redistributing them to followers. This included targeting Robin Mask, whom Quarrelman had previously deemed unworthy. During the Dream Choujin Tag Arc, the Hell Missionaries defeated Robin Mask and Warsman in a brutal mask-removal death match, resulting in Warsman's temporary death. In the subsequent semi-finals against the 20 Million Powers, Neptuneman used his Magnet Power to heal injuries and dominate the match, ultimately unmasking Mongolman (revealed as Ramenman).
After losing to Kinnikuman and the Machineguns, Neptuneman underwent significant development. He sacrificed his life to halt the Perfect Choujin invasion, leading allies to illegally resurrect him. This resurrection drew the attention of Choujin Enma, who dispatched bounty hunters like Omegaman Dexia to eliminate him for cheating death. During the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne tournament finals, Neptuneman resurfaced disguised as The Samurai. He aided Kinnikuman and Robin Mask in a three-man tag match against Kinnikuman Super Phoenix, Omegaman, and Mammothman. Breaking free from a binding string, he burned his own page in the Muscle Prophecy to save Kinnikuman from Omegaman's Omega Catastrophe Drop. His soul later reignited Kinnikuman's Burning Inner Strength, securing victory before the group was revived by Kinnikuman's Face Flash.
Neptuneman maintained loyalty to the Perfect Choujin despite imprisonment by The Man, who suspected Justice Choujin influence. He believed the faction needed reform and saw Kinnikuman as the catalyst. In *Kinnikuman Nisei: Ultimate Tag*, he retained his youth through rigorous training and diet, gaining new abilities like optical fiber manipulation by consuming specialized crystals. He participated in time-traveling missions and allied with a walrus-themed Choujin.
Physically resembling Hulk Hogan, Neptuneman has blond hair, a Fu Manchu mustache, and wears a spiked vest akin to the Road Warriors. His signature techniques include the Quarrel Bomber (an Axe Bomber-style clothesline), Double Leg Suplex, Thunder Saber (electricity projectiles), and Magnet Power Plus (a magnetic beam pulling opponents closer). He channels Hardness Level 10: Diamond Power to solidify limbs for mask removal or strikes. His electromagnetic abilities extend to weather manipulation like summoning thunderstorms and reversing Earth's rotation to manipulate time.
His relationships feature a persistent rivalry with Robin Mask. He led the Perfect Choujin vanguard sternly, punishing failures by subordinates like Screw Kid and Kendaman. Despite initial antagonism, he allied with former enemies, notably aiding Kinnikuman's faction during critical battles.
