Description
Kentaro Takaoka, first wrestling as Yellow Devil, competed professionally for the Tiger's Den organization. His childhood in Meiwa, Gunma, involved hardship after his father's death, forcing him to support his younger sister and ailing mother through part-time milk deliveries. At age fifteen, Mr. X recruited him into the Tiger's Den after witnessing his karate skills, notably displayed when he shattered a table with a single chop. During his Tiger's Den tenure, the Yellow Devil persona embodied ring villainy and formidable strength—though not the group's pinnacle—featuring the Devil's Crush avalanche moonsault side slam driver as his signature move.

A critical turning point unfolded when Takaoka mistakenly accused Tiger Mask (Naoto Date) of causing his mother's death. After confronting and losing to Tiger Mask, he uncovered the truth and defected from the Tiger's Den. This triggered a profound transformation: he discarded his villainous identity, adopted heroic in-ring tactics, and channeled his earnings toward orphan support, aligning with Tiger Mask's philanthropy.

Decades later, an elderly and physically impaired Takaoka runs a motor shop while safeguarding Naoto Date's legacy as the sole custodian of Tiger Mask's covert training facility. Learning of the Tiger's Den's resurgence, he recruits and rigorously trains Naoto Azuma to become the next Tiger Mask, preparing him to combat both the revived Tiger's Den and its ally, the Global Wrestling Monopoly. Operating discreetly as a strategist and coordinator, Takaoka undermines the Tiger's Den while guiding Azuma's development, even substituting for him in a pivotal match to uphold Tiger Mask's ideals.

His Yellow Devil wrestling style emphasized power techniques like the Devil Tornado spinning knife edge chop and vertical suplex. Post-reform, he retained technical expertise but ceased active competition, dedicating himself to mentorship. His legacy cemented the Tiger Mask identity across generations, culminating in his support during the final showdown against Tiger's Den forces under Tiger the Great the Third. He continues to champion the original Tiger Mask's heroic principles.
