Description
Tiger the Great, originally operating under the alias Miracle 3, reigns as the ultimate antagonist in the original *Tiger Mask* anime. He commands Tiger's Den, a criminal syndicate training wrestlers to become vicious competitors who forfeit half their earnings to the organization.

His civilian guise presents a tall, muscular man with green-blue hair, typically clad in a pinstripe suit and glasses. As Miracle 3, he adopts a black costume concealing his identity with eye, nose, and mouth holes, dominating opponents through unparalleled strength, speed, and technical skill. Revealing himself as Tiger the Great, he dons a whitish costume featuring a skull pierced by a dagger and a white tiger mask. His personality embodies ruthlessness, violence, and strategic cunning. He favors psychological torture over brute force, meticulously studies enemy techniques, and exhibits low tolerance for failure, often threatening disappointing subordinates.

Tiger the Great assumed the Miracle 3 identity to sabotage Tiger Mask's reputation, winning every match through calculated dominance. After Tiger Mask (Naoto Date) betrays Tiger's Den by donating earnings to an orphanage, Tiger the Great orchestrates assassinations using wrestlers like Mister X, King Tiger, Big Tiger, and Black Tiger. Following Mister X's death, he directly challenges Tiger Mask to a deathmatch, claiming comprehensive knowledge of his fighting style. Their final battle culminates with Tiger the Great destroying Tiger Mask's mask and nearly defeating him with lethal techniques. Tiger Mask overpowers him, trapping him beneath a falling chandelier that crushes him, ending his life and dismantling Tiger's Den.

In the manga continuity, Tiger the Great is not a singular entity. He is a composite figure: the four equal-ranking Tiger's Den executives, the trio of wrestlers sharing the "Miracle 3" identity to deceive opponents, and Kim, a wrestler who impersonated Tiger Mask to discredit Naoto Date.

The sequel series *Tiger Mask W*, set 40 years later, introduces Tiger the Great the Third, his grandson and heir. The Third inherits leadership of the resurrected Tiger's Den, adopting a similar costume and brutal philosophy. Initially wrestling as Yellow Devil, he paralyzes Daisuke Fuji (manager of Zipangu Pro-Wrestling) and recruits Fuji's son, Takuma, into Tiger's Den. After proving himself the organization's strongest wrestler, he assumes the Tiger the Great mantle and wins the GWM World Heavyweight Championship. His abilities exceed human limits, demonstrated by feats like lifting opponents single-handedly, shaking rings with punches, and executing the "Sacrifice" finisher—a cloverleaf lift followed by a jumping powerbomb causing catastrophic injuries. The Third's motivations include validating his lineage by defeating powerful foes like Tiger Mask (Naoto Azuma) and Tiger the Dark (Takuma Fuji), whom he brutally defeats in a title match.

Across all media, Tiger the Great's legacy endures through familial and organizational successors within the *Tiger Mask* universe.
