Chopin, originally named Beh in Japanese media, is a black cat. His English name derives from composer Frédéric Chopin. He belongs to newspaper delivery worker Banta Kawahara, frequently riding in the baskets of his owner's bicycle.

This cat knows every shortcut, hidden passage, and secluded spot in the neighborhood, readily sharing this knowledge. He displays a notably short attention span, easily distracted mid-conversation or activity by nearby butterflies, snails, ants, or other occurrences. Chopin maintains a characteristically calm and unflappable demeanor, remaining unfazed even in chaotic situations, partly due to frequent obliviousness to surrounding events.

He also tends to fall asleep spontaneously in various locations. In specific iterations like the *Uchi no Tama Shirimasen ka?* web shorts and *Uchitama?! Have you seen my Tama?*, peeling off his bandage triggers a dimensional void enabling teleportation or time travel for himself and nearby individuals. Despite its repeated occurrence, he remains unaware of this ability.

Residing in the same neighborhood as Tama, he regularly interacts with the core group of animal friends including Pochi, Tora, Momo, and others.
