Description
Doozle, called Pochi in Japanese, is a small dog defined by profound timidity and a perpetually fearful nature. He succumbs to heart-pounding fright in countless situations, often fainting outright. Despite this deep-seated anxiety, he remains tenderhearted and develops an exceptionally close, enduring bond with Tama; their inseparable friendship and shared adventures earn them the label "Heterosexual Life-Partners."

Owned by Tofu no Yamada, Doozle lives in the same neighborhood as Tama and their companions. Within this group, he frequently fades into the background, overlooked or forgotten by others, providing a minor recurring comedic thread. His presence often goes unnoticed until he speaks or moves, underscoring his quiet, unassuming role.

A pivotal moment arises when Doozle's timidity causes failure in a competition. This sparks his attempt at reinvention as a strong, "wolf-like" figure, adopting a tough persona. However, his efforts to appear menacing—practicing intimidating poses—prove ineffective and unconvincing. His peers ultimately declare him the "cutest dog on Third Street," cementing his inherently gentle and endearing nature over any forced transformation.

His interactions extend beyond Tama, including moments with characters like Gon and Kuro. He observes group dynamics, such as witnessing Bull's attempt to establish dominance. Through various storylines involving rescues and neighborhood explorations, Doozle's loyalty and cooperative spirit consistently highlight the central theme of friendship.
