Bengbu, known as Gon in the original Japanese, is a dog residing on Third Street. Owned by furniture shop operator Zenji Noda, he is frequently seen lounging on a chair near the shop. His demeanor remains consistently laid-back and relaxed, projecting a calm, easygoing personality. Despite his subdued nature, he occasionally displays humorous traits that contribute lighthearted moments within his group.

As one of three core dogs in Tama's circle of friends, Bengbu interacts regularly with animals like Tama, Pochi, Momo, Tora, and Kuro. He maintains a reliable presence in the group, often serving as a steady counterpart to more energetic characters. His role stays supportive across all documented media—including anime adaptations, films, OVAs, and spin-offs—without significant story arcs or evolution. His background lacks elaboration beyond his association with the furniture shop and owner, while his consistent personality traits of calmness, reliability, and occasional humor undergo no notable development.
