TV-Series
Description
Lololo and Lalala serve as supportive characters, small flying tear-drop-shaped beings residing in Castle Dedede where they handle housework. They originated as a single monster entity named Fofa; a division process created them as separate individuals, erasing their memory of being Fofa. Although stemming from a monster classified by Night Mare Enterprises, they show no hostility and maintain no connection to that organization. Sharing nearly identical personalities due to their common origin, they consistently demonstrate willingness to help Kirby, Tiff, and her family, frequently using their flight ability for scouting or carrying objects. Unsuitable for direct combat, they nonetheless exhibit significant bravery and determination, readily entering dangerous situations to protect others. They display intelligence, often collaborating with Tiff on plans and strategies. A defining trait is their strong aversion to separation; they stay physically close because of their origin as one being. In "The Fofa Factor," they confront the choice to reunite into Fofa but consciously relinquish this chance to restore a similarly divided Kirby instead.

Their relationships vary. They share a friendly rapport with Kirby, enjoying his company and sometimes flying alongside him. Officially servants to Tiff and her family, they have served since Tiff's infancy and receive familial treatment in return, sharing living quarters. Conversely, they openly express dislike for King Dedede and Escargoon despite serving under them. Escargoon occasionally enlists them to aid schemes targeting King Dedede.

Their involvement fluctuates throughout the series. They appear in slightly over half of the episodes, with a more substantial presence concentrated in the initial half. When available, they actively support Tiff and Kirby, often using flight for reconnaissance or transport due to their personal opposition to King Dedede's actions. Key narrative contributions include defying Slice n' Splice in "The Fofa Factor," accompanying Kirby, Tiff, and Tuff in "Island of the Lost Warrior," and joining Tuff in "Flower Power." Their prominence diminishes as the series progresses. In "Cappy Town Down," they commit to joining Meta Knight's crew aboard the Halberd for the assault on eNeMeE's Fortress. Present during the Halberd's initial ascent, they subsequently disappear from the crew without explanation.

Flight represents their primary physical ability, distinguishing them from their video game counterparts. This flight is often accompanied by a falling-pitch whistle-like sound effect in the Japanese and Chinese versions. They are characterized as physically weak, with flight being their most consistent capability. Their maze-navigation skills are explicitly noted as inadequate. King Dedede employed them, providing a castle. Loneliness in this environment preceded their encounter with Tiff and Tuff after Escargoon delivered the kidnapped children. Despite the circumstances, they persistently attempted friendship with Tiff and Tuff, ultimately aiding Kirby and Poppy Bros. Jr. in rescuing them after encouragement from Kirby.
