Description
Volkan, a dwarven exile from Masmaturia, balances comedic antics with antagonistic flair as the self-important older brother of Dortin. Both were banished for relentless troublemaking, with Volkan dragging Dortin into exile and dominating him through bluster and bravado. Flaunting titles like "Masmaturian Bulldog" and "Volcan the Great," his grandiose self-image fuels relentless—if inept—pursuits of power and wealth. Half-baked schemes, prone to collapse from shortsighted planning, repeatedly pit him against Orphen, whom he stubbornly refuses to repay.

His dwarven resilience lets him shrug off blows and spells alike, a trait matched only by his unshakable delusions of grandeur. Though his bombastic proclamations and obliviousness invite laughter, his past as a instigator of unrest lingers, driving a nomadic life of treasure hunts and ill-fated ventures. Ego, selfishness, and mischief anchor his persona across tales, unchanging even as he exploits a trapped White Mage’s magic by suppressing her consciousness—a rare flicker of cunning amid habitual bungling.

While his clashes with Orphen and domineering jabs at Dortin position him as a recurring nuisance, Volkan’s antics inject levity into darker threads, his chaos rooted more in stubborn self-interest than true villainy.
