Description
Pope Ramonirok leads the Kimluck Church from extreme seclusion within the Yggdrasil Cathedral, his existence kept a profound secret. He never appears publicly, and to maintain this secrecy, his caretaker Anastasia was deliberately blinded. Though believed to be a title passed down for over two centuries, Pope Ramonirok is actually the same individual who founded the Kimluck religion two hundred years ago. This unnatural longevity stems from his true nature as a living weapon, a "killing doll" created by the Celestials during the ancient conflict between the Weird Sisters, the goddesses of the Kimluck Church, and the dragons.
As a Celestial construct, Pope Ramonirok operates solely according to his creators' directives. He commands the church's elite assassins, the Teachers of Death, including Quo Vadis Pater and Carlotta, employing manipulation and readily eliminating subordinates who displease him. His role involves safeguarding the Yggdrasil Cathedral's secrets concerning the origins of sorcery and the dragons. He enforces the Kimluck doctrine of sorcerer persecution, viewing them as abominations resulting from the actions of the Celestial Sister Istersiva, who interbred with humans to create a magically gifted race that perished.
Pope Ramonirok's arc culminates during the infiltration of the Yggdrasil Cathedral by Orphen and Azalie. Following a rebellion by Quo Vadis Pater against him, Pope Ramonirok engages in a final battle. He is ultimately defeated by Orphen and Azalie, concluding the Kimluck Church's primary threat.
