Description
Jabberwock is the nanomachine weapon system symbiotically bonded to Ryo Takatsuki. It originated as one of four core ARMS units engineered by the Egrigori organization. Jabberwock formed from the fragmented psyche of Alice, a child prodigy whose consciousness split during a failed escape attempt where she merged with the entity Azazel. This fracture created benevolent White Alice and rage-filled Black Alice; Jabberwock embodies Black Alice's hatred and destructive impulses, manifesting as an unstable, violent artificial intelligence.

Initially appearing as Ryo's replacement right arm, Jabberwock demonstrates autonomous defensive capabilities, elongating limbs, forming shields, and accelerating Ryo's natural healing. Its synchronization with Ryo intensifies through shared anger, triggering a full transformation into a crimson, demonic humanoid entity driven by pure rage. This form activates under extreme hostility or when Ryo's emotional control falters.

Jabberwock exhibits rapid adaptive evolution during combat, developing countermeasures against diverse threats. Early abilities encompass compressed air cannons firing material-converted projectiles and an anti-ARMS nanovirus transmitted via claws to permanently disable enemy regeneration. Subsequent confrontations trigger further adaptations: telekinetic immunity against Cliff of the X-Army, thrusters for limited flight, thermal manipulation reaching thousands of degrees enabling pyrokinesis and defense, electromagnetic distortion fields deflecting energy attacks, and space-time tear resistance neutralizing Keith Green's abilities.

Notable power developments include hypersonic vibrations capable of shattering atomic structures, deployed against Huey and the Successors, and hyper acceleration allowing relativistic movement speeds without full transformation—an ability stemming from Ryo's willpower rather than Jabberwock's influence. The compressed air cannon evolved into an electromagnetic rail gun to penetrate advanced shielding. Its most dangerous capability is anti-matter generation, initially requiring massive energy absorption but later achievable freely. This power caused catastrophic damage to Gallows Bell and inflicted permanent injuries on Keith Silver. Post-reactivation by White Alice, Jabberwock wielded fistfuls of anti-matter casually, with potential planetary destruction capacity noted by Egrigori scientist Samuel Tillinghast.

Jabberwock's relationship with Ryo evolves from parasitic hostility towards symbiosis. While initially amplifying Ryo's rage to assume control, Ryo gradually imposes his will, consciously directing the unit's evolution. This culminates during the Bandersnatch conflict, where Jabberwock merges with White Alice and Takeshi Tomoe's White Rabbit, enabling White Alice to confront her darker half directly. This fusion resolves the Alice psyche split, with Black Alice redeemed and later reincarnated as the child of Ryo and Katsumi Akagi.
