Enrico Maggi is an Italian voice actor, dubbing director, and theatre actor, born in Bergamo, Italy, in 1950. He is highly regarded for his extensive work in the Italian dubbing industry, providing the Italian voices for a vast array of characters in Western animation, live-action films and television series, and notably, a significant number of Japanese anime. Maggi is also recognized as the official station voice for the Italian television network Canale 5.

Maggi's career in anime dubbing is prolific, encompassing many of the most iconic titles imported to Italy. Among his most prominent roles are those in the Saint Seiya franchise, known in Italian as I Cavalieri dello Zodiaco. He is the Italian voice of the complex character Gemini Saga in multiple series, including the original Saint Seiya TV series, Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter - Sanctuary, Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter - Inferno, and Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter - Elysion. In the original series, he also voiced several other characters, including the narrator and Phoenix Ikki. He later voiced the character Mitsumasa Kido in the 2019 CGI series Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya.

Another defining role for Maggi is the titular character in the various animated adaptations of Black Jack, including the OVAs and the film Black Jack The Movie, where he lends his voice to the enigmatic surgeon. His work in the mecha genre includes voicing Energon 1 in Transformers: Super God Masterforce. His repertoire also features a wide range of characters in anime films and OVAs, such as Mephisto in Demon City Shinjuku, Magane Hyuga in Super Atragon, Garudi in Legend of Crystania: The Chaos Ring, Unghia del Piede di Satana in Kekko Kamen, and Jabberwock in both Project ARMS and Project ARMS: The 2nd Chapter. Further demonstrating his versatility, he provided the voice for M. Bison (known as Vega in the Italian version) in the film Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie.

Beyond acting, Enrico Maggi has also contributed to the industry as a dubbing director for numerous animated series, including Muppet Babies, The Jungle Book, and PsicoVip. His work has made him a familiar and respected voice to Italian audiences who grew up watching dubbed anime and cartoons from the 1980s onwards.
