Donkikko, a spirited country boy, finds himself in the city, where he makes his temporary home in an abandoned train with his loyal friend Dondon and their pet duck, Gonbei. Together, they assist the elderly owner of "Wanwan-do," a quaint antique shop, in daily tasks and venture through the town to recover lost treasures.
