Mitsuko Asō was a Japanese voice actress born on May 27, 1930 in Tokyo Prefecture. Her career in the voice acting industry spanned from 1950 to 1972, after which she retired.

Asō was active during the early decades of anime television and contributed to many classic series from that era. She was known for voicing characters in works by notable manga artists such as Fujio Akatsuka and Shōtarō Ishinomori.

Her major voice roles include Matsuyo Matsuno, the mother of the titular sextuplets, in the 1966 series Osomatsu-kun. In the 1971 series Sarutobi Ecchan, she voiced the character Kurihei Tenka. Her other notable roles from this period include Jakotsu-Babaa in the 1968 anime GeGeGe no Kitarō, Mama in the 1969 series Hakushon-Daimaō (also known as The Genie Family), Yuri Izumi in Attack No. 1, and Chibi in Ashita no Joe. She also voiced the character Ultra Grandmother in the 1966 series Sally the Witch.

Her film appearances include providing the voice for the character Tsune in the series Nozomi in the Sun and participating in the 1970 film Attack No. 1 - Tear Rotation Receive.
